bjlaquascapes.com is about the craft of the planted tank and the pond — laying out a hardscape that looks intentional, balancing light and CO2 so plants thrive instead of melt, keeping water parameters stable, and choosing livestock that actually gets along. It's aimed at the stretch between first tank and confident aquascaper.

How this works, plainly: we curate rather than run a fish room of our own. The guidance here is built from equipment manufacturer specifications, established aquascaping and planted-tank literature, water-chemistry references, and the shared knowledge of communities like r/PlantedTank and r/Aquariums. When we cite a dosing rate, a stocking guideline, or a parameter range, it comes from those sources — not measurements from a private gallery of tanks.
